Celebrating 50 years of service to our community! 1961 ~ 2011

Help for today...hope for tomorrow is the essence of what the House of Neighborly Service has provided to low-income individuals and families in Southern Larimer County for 50 years!  HNS was established in 1961 by the local pastors of Loveland to be a central place in Larimer County that they could refer people, where there would be ample resources, accountability, and compassionate people to minister to those in need.  HNS still remains a networking service with churches, other agencies and community members to ensure that those who truly are in need are being helped.

The mission of House of Neighborly Service is to compassionately address and respond to the effects of poverty, while helping prevent further crisis and to empower those we serve to become more self-sustaining.

Every effort is made to provide encouragement and vital tools for personal and situational improvement through HNS services and client responsibility, guidance, educational classes, and referrals to other resources.
