This event has a deep meaning to all of us at House of Neighborly Service. The symbolism is very important. Many times the clients we serve feel like they are “going over the edge” because of the difficult life crisis they might be facing…although we might not be able to change or rescue them from life’s events (disease, trauma, poverty, death in family, etc.), we can come “along side” them with a "Rope of Hope” and tools that enable them to come through their circumstance with a sense of dignity and hope.
