The Family Day Center provides a safe, welcoming place for families with children who are experiencing homelessness or are at immediate risk of losing housing. Designed as a daytime respite, the Center offers stability, dignity, and practical support during an incredibly stressful season of life.
Families can rest, regroup, and access essential resources together in a shared space designed for parents and children to remain connected. The Family Day Center is not a childcare program; parents or guardians remain with their children at all times. Instead, it is a place where families can spend the day safely while navigating next steps.
Across our community, the lack of affordable housing—combined with rising rents and stagnant wages—means that a single crisis can push a family into homelessness. With limited safety nets, families often need immediate support while they work toward long-term stability. The Family Day Center exists to walk alongside families during this critical time.
Our team partners with families to identify housing barriers and pathways forward through resource navigation, advocacy, and stabilization support. By addressing urgent needs and connecting families to community resources, we support parents as they work toward safe, stable housing for their children.
