we are creating a Kinder,
More Neighborly Community.

House of Neighborly Service is committed to providing assistance to residents who live within the Thompson School District. As we all know, things have been changing very quickly with the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in our communities. We’ve been closely monitoring and making changes along the way, as we take very seriously our responsibility to help care for and protect our staff, our volunteers, our clients, their families and the communities we serve. Because of this, we will be taking an important next step to primarily providing food baskets until further notice.
We understand the impact this could have and we want you to know how much we appreciate your support and understanding.
We want to make sure that our donors, volunteers and clients know there is nothing more important than our collective health and safety. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can make ongoing assessments and consider ways to further support our clients and communities as needs unfold.

News & Notes

When bad things happen, how do we act individually, and how can we come together as a society? How can we be kind in times of darkness?

Whether it’s a few hours or a long commitment, volunteering not only supports those around you but positively influences you as well.

Living a full and altruistic life is about more than just doing your best. It’s about sharing your best with others around you and connecting with them through our inherent need to tell stories.
